Teaching and education is a very important of our purpose as a
congregation. We offer classes for all ages at various times. Here is a list
of our current classes (as of 6 Apr 2008), along with a brief description when
available.
Sundays, 10:00am
- I & II Kings
Richard Jordan, Auditorium
Richard presents new and deep insights in this textual study of the books of Kings,
highlighting things that most people would not see in a normal reading of the text.
This class is an expository, lecture-style format.
- Nine Passages To Ponder
Jerrod Duggan, East Room
In this discussion-style class, Jerrod presents nine different passages which are
important to living a Christian life.
- Ladies Class: Philippians
Donna Day, Family Room (west wing)
All ladies are invited to join in this study of Philippians by Max Lucado.
- Basic Music Reading
Jonathan Paden, WBS Office (basement)
Ever wanted to learn how to read music? Jonathan teaches the basics of how music
notation works and how to read it. Emphasis will be on notation style used in the
hymnal, to aid people in following the worship music as we sing.
- High School Youth
Howard Helis & Michelle Meredith, Youth Room (basement)
Our high school teens (grades 9-12) meet for weekly Bible study.
- Middle School Youth
Lorna Brewster, Basement
Our middle school and junior high teens (grades 6-8) meet for weekly Bible study.
- Children's Classes
Various teachers, Basement
We offer multiple classes for children, divided by age, in various classrooms in
the basement.
Wednesdays, 12:00pm
- Adult Bible Study
Andrew Brewster, Auditorium
Andrew offers a noon-time study from the daily Bible readings of the week.
Wednesdays, 7:00pm
- Adult Bible Study
Andrew Brewster, Auditorium
Andrew offers a study from the daily Bible readings of the week. (This class
often uses the same material as the noon class.)
- Children's Class

We offer a class for children of any age in the basement.
