Teaching and education is a very important of our purpose as a
congregation. We offer classes for all ages at various times. Here is a list
of our current classes (as of 16 Oct 2011), along with a brief description when
available.
Sundays, 10:00am
- Romans
Richard Jordan, Auditorium
Richard presents new and deep insights in his textual study of the Bible,
highlighting things that most people would not see in a normal reading of the text.
Currently, Richard is covering the book of Romans.
This class is an expository, lecture-style format.
- The Promised Land
Dennis Epperson, East Wing
This Adult Study Group has a more conversational, discussion group format. The material is presented
via DVD, and discussion follows.
- The Life and Ministry of Christ
John Wood, Basement
This interactive Adult Study Group will take a more in-depth and focused look at the life of Christ.
- Women's Class
Donna Day, Community Room (west wing)
All ladies are invited to join in this Bible study. Currently, the topic of study
is "How to Know God's Will."
- Worship Team Rehearsal
Jonathan Paden, WBS Office (basement)
The TRC Worship Team is a team of singers that leads the music at the 11:00am
worship assemblies. The team rehearses at 10:00am Sunday mornings. Rehearsals are
open to anyone, and we encourage people interested in joining the team to attend
rehearsals to try it out.
- High School and Middle School Youth
Andrea Harris, Youth Room (basement)
Our teens (grades 6-12) meet for weekly Bible study.
- Children's Classes
Various teachers, Basement
We offer multiple classes for children, divided by school grade, in various
classrooms in the basement.
- Nursery
Kiera Echols, Nursery (east wing)
The nursery is open during both worship assemblies and Bible class for children ages 2 and under.
Sundays, 6:00pm
- Bible Study and Communion
Andrew Brewster and Dennis Epperson, Auditorium
Andrew and Dennis teach an evening Adult Bible study, also offering time of prayer and communion.
Wednesdays, 11:00am
- In The News: Poverty
Andrew Brewster, Auditorium
Andrew offers a mid-day Adult Bible class that discusses current news and events from a Biblical perspective.
Wednesdays, 6:00pm
- Prophets and Kings: Innocent Blood
Andrew Brewster, East Wing
Andrew offers an evening Adult Bible class that studies the Old Testament, specifically the times of the prophets
and kings of Israel and Judah.
