The ministry system at Turner Road is one in which every member can have a role. 

Here's a description of our ministry areas:

Benevolence Ministry. This ministry focuses on providing for those who cannot provide for themselves.

Building and Grounds Ministry. This ministry's responsibility is to maintain a safe, comfortable, and secure structure as well as maintain well-groomed grounds.

Education Ministry. This ministry serves the educational needs of the congregation. The people involved in this ministry develop and deliver year-long educational curriculum, as well as longer range education plans.

Fellowship Ministry. This ministry plans activities to bring together our church family for times of sharing and enjoyment.

 

Finance Ministry. This ministry provides the supervision and administration of the monetary funds of the congregation. 

Involvement. This area strives to assist each member in becoming at part of our ministry system.

 

Office. There is opportunity to use your skills in producing church printed material, mailing and other publications.

 

Outreach. This is our focus on reaching those without Christ in their lives.  Programs include mission efforts, vacation bible school, prison ministry and others.

 

Prayer. We believe that God does work today in our lives through prayer.  Individuals in this area dedicate themselves to bringing the needs of our members to God in prayer.

 

Small Groups. A feeling of belonging can be enhanced by participating in smaller groups where everyone can be themselves.  This is a growing ministry that currently includes regionally located members, a women's group, a music group and others.

 

Worship Ministry. Those involved with this ministry organize the Sunday praise assemblies, help foster a spirit of worship, and provide guidance for the special Children's Bible Hour on Sunday mornings.

Youth Ministry. This ministry serves primarily junior high and senior high students.  Special programs and activities are provided for children preschool-12th grade, and for parents of those children.

These ministries are open for any member to participate in. Each ministry is a year-round effort, but such commitment brings memories cherished for a lifetime. At Turner Road we believe in doing all we can for God's glory!
